A triple glazed unit is a window consisting of three panes of glass separated by argon gas, this means it has an extra layer of glass to insulate your home over double glazing. Our triple glazing prevents heat loss by convection because the air gaps in each unit are too small to allow the air to circulate, and because the argon gas is a poor conductor, it reduces the rate of heat loss through the window.

Our high-performance triple glazed windows which are fitted with Soft Coat Xtra glass and Argon gas will achieve whole window U-values as low as 0.8 w/m2K, and for maximum performance, we use a Warm Edge Spacer bar which retains heat better than standard aluminium spacer bars around the edge of the unit.
